Door-to-door Dial-a-ride
COMMBUS operates a dial-a-ride service 5 days a week within Blaby district picking up passengers from their own homes wherever possible to take them to local shopping centres and towns such as Fosse Park, Beaumont Leys and Hinckley.
We also operate special trips to places further afield such as Market Harborough, Rugby-Elliot’s Fields, Oakham and Stratford-upon-Avon.
COMMBUS allows time for shopping and/or a tea/coffee break before returning passengers to their own homes.

COMMBUS is a local charity run entirely by volunteers to serve the elderly and anyone with a disability or limited mobility. COMMBUS offers passengers, who have difficulty with or who are unable to use public transport, personal independence to go shopping or on special trips at an affordable cost.
All COMMBUS drivers are MIDAS trained. We also provide trained bus escorts to assist passengers during their journey. COMMBUS operates modern and bespoke buses, which offer a safe and comfortable ride. All of our buses have wheelchair or electric scooter access and a tail lift.

Alternatively please call 0116 286 6116 between 10am and 12noon from Monday to Friday to register. You will be sent a pack which includes a registration form to be completed, and a dial-a-ride timetable. Complete and return the form to register to use COMMBUS!
Group hire
Our modern minibuses are also available for private hire, at affordable and competitive rates, by community groups with a disability need for transport to events. COMMBUS minibuses can be hired per hour or for the full day. Private hire depends upon the availability of one of our volunteer drivers.
